Some new AI tools in my workbench

On a daily basis I conjure (aka prompt my way to creating new stuff) between 3 – 5 new tools for my toolbox using AI. Working a long time as a sysadmin, I am quite dumbfounded how EASY it is now to just create a new tool that you need. As an example, troubleshooting why Defender is hogging all the memory or why read/write IO on disk it to slow? Create a tool for it! Since I get pulled into different troubleshooting scenarios, questions about products/features/licenses or even trying to understand a new topic or just that I need some visualization of something the best way is just get one of the agent harnesses to build it.

This is not intended as a regular blog post, but just a current view of some of the self-developed tools (and services that I publish)

1: Tokenwise — AI Agent, Service & Copilot Work IQ Cost Calculator
Intended as a cost calculator for AI both API and Subscription models and also trying to wrap my head about Copilot Credits (including Cowork and Managed Runtimes)

2: LOCAI — Local LLM GPU & Quantization Explorer
Main usage is to figure out which is the best open-source model and it if fits on my current GPU. Collect also different models and quantization levels so you can see if you can actually fit Kimi 3.1 on your own computer (answer is still likely no)
